Travelling to Chatel

Flying is the quickest way to travel to the Alps but driving has it’s upsides.

EasyJet are still the most popular airline flying to Geneva from the UK with BA and many others also offering low cost deals.

A great way to see France while travelling to Chatel is to come by car, especially practical for those travelling in large groups. A distance of 500/550 miles from Calais, you can spread the journey over a day or two with a chosen stop off on route. Self-drivers may like to take advantage of a sneaky couple of extra days on the slopes, drive out Friday night and take to the slopes the first Saturday of your holiday.

On departure, leave late Saturday and enjoy an additional day on the snow at the end of your holiday. Another way of travelling to Chatel is by fly-drive. Many like the freedom of having a car while on holiday but don’t like the long drive, so hiring a fly-drive from the airport is a great option.
