Nestled at the top of the Val D’Abondance, the picturesque village of Chatel is conveniently situated only 75 minutes from Geneva airport and in the heart of the massive interlinked ski area of the Portes Du Soleil.

The village itself has retained it’s traditional Savoyarde charm, (there are 34 farms still working within the town), whilst developing a wide range of restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes.  We’ll be happy to point you in the direction of some lively apres ski, so whether you fancy a live band at L’Avalanche or cocktails at L’Escalier there’s something for everyone.

You’ll also find a bowling alley, cinemas, an ice rink and plenty of shops to look round and with Chalet Le Cret being so central within the village, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore.

Chatel is serviced by a free and efficient bus service which operates throughout both the summer and the winter seasons which means that even without a car you have the freedom to come and go from the chalet as you please.
