Due to the numerous budget travel companies now available we
leave your travel arrangements up to your preference. Flying
is the quickest and easiest way to travel to the Alps. EasyJet are
still the most popular airline flying to Geneva from the UK with
BA and many others also offering low cost deals. A great way to
see France while travelling to Châtel is to come by car, especially
practical for those travelling in large groups. A distance of 500/550
miles from Calais, you can spread the journey over a day or two
with a chosen stop off on route. Self-drivers may like to take advantage
of a sneaky couple of extra days on the slopes, drive out Friday
night and take to the slopes the first Saturday of your holiday.
On departure, leave late Saturday and enjoy an additional day on
the snow at the end of your holiday. Another way of travelling to
Châtel is by fly-drive. Many like the freedom of having a
car while on holiday but don't like the long drive, so hiring a
fly-drive from the airport is a great option.

Summer travel
|
|
As with the winter months, flying is the quickest
way to the Alps. Transportation is available to and from the airport.
Although we are centrally located in Châtel we highly recommend
having a car for the duration of your stay, whether it be hired
from Geneva or self drive, due to the many activities on hand and
places of interest to visit. During the summer months the self-drive
option may be more appealing with many more places of interest accessible
and open to the public than in the winter months. Make a holiday
of your journey by taking time to stop off and discover new places
as you travel.
