 An
activity you wouldn't expect to be popular in a mountain resort
is diving.
Although you can brave the elements and have a go at under ice diving
in chatel during the winter months, diving is a very popular activity
down in Lac Leman. There are dive clubs with fully qualified members
who offer 'give it a go' sessions in the lake. A great introduction
to diving in the warm lake water of Thonon or Evian.
