Chatel has a fantastic choice of varied restaurants offering
fine French cuisine and local Savoyarde specialties. For pizza
fans the local pizzeria has extended it's menu, which now includes
tartiflette and pasta dishes, which you can enjoy in their rustic
and comfortable restaurant or on the terrace in fine weather. There
are creperies and tearooms dotted throughout the village, which
are great to stop at and enjoy an afternoon tea, or light lunch
while the world goes by.
Most restaurants offer set meal menus, which give great value for
money and still a great choice or a la carte dishes for more variety.
All the local restaurants are open for luncheons and evening meals
- many allow you to order a starter or just a salad as a lunchtime
meal.
